Selecting 'Edit
Document' from the Document Context menu will search for the document in
the Working Directory. If found it will open the document for editing in
its native program, if that program is available. i.e. Microsoft Word
documents will be opened in Microsoft Word, Adobe Photoshop files will
be opened in Adobe Photoshop etc.
If the Document is
not found in the Working Directory then it will, first, be 'Checked-Out'
to the Working Directory and then opened in it's native program.
If the native
program for a file does not exist then the Windows panel (Fig.1) will be
presented to enable you to search for a program which is able to open
the file.
