To modify the
Treename or description of an historical version of a document first
select the document in the Treeview and then select the 'History'
option in the utilities area.
This will display the version/revision history of the document. Select the version you wish to modify (the description will be updated in the Object Header and Object Description paneling). Once you have determined which version of the document to modify simply right click on the document in the history list and select 'Modify Metadata' in the context menu. The 'Document Modify' panel will be displayed which will enable you to modify the name and description of the Document. The name cannot be blank. An additional option is available on this panel and this is to set or unset the 'Document Under Revision Control' flag. This will determine whether the document can be edited or not. Document types such as PDF's and URL's would not, typically, need to be revision controlled. Once appropriate entries are made select 'Modify' and the Document information will be modified Please refer to 'Managing Document Revision History' for more details on Document Revision Management
